The RF Engineering, Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the RF Engineering Electronics and Communications Hardware team.
As the RF Hardware Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Leading a highly skilled team on the development and integration of RF hardware supporting hardware across enterprise.
• The oversight of all activities related development, production, and sustainment across programs
• Managing staffing, training, and development of those on the RF Hardware team, including, but not limited to:
o Workforce management (re-assignments and placements, recruitment and selection of new employees and terminations)
o Personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance and compensation, and promotions).
• Management of your team's complex technical projects, by practicing effective project management problem resolution and risk management techniques.
• Collaboration with LOBs, Other E&T Talent Centers, Operations, other Business Units, and Industry.
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a proven leader with prior skills and experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Have a good understanding of RF system development, including cost and schedule drivers for program execution, while driving innovative and creative solutions.
• Be expected to support communications with all levels of employees, customers, and industry from engineer up to executive.
Successful applicants will typically possess 5+ years of professional experience with a minimum education level of Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or other STEM/Engineering related fields
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years' experience leading technical teams
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience leading technical integration projects
• Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to subordinates, peers, management and customers.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities in a highly dynamic, high tempo environment
• Demonstrated commitment to the development of others
• Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and coach a team, which includes the execution and evolution of a business rhythm that effectively communicates and achieves program objectives and priorities.
• To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected applicant to be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent with RF coursework and/or experience
• Demonstrated technical depth in RF hardware, RF electronics, or related Electrical Engineering discipline
• Experience as Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) or industry equivalent
• Experience as Control Account Manager (CAM) or industry equivalent
• Experience in Risk and Opportunity Management
• Experience leading rigorous failure analysis via formal failure review boards

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $164,300 - $289,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
