Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Combined Indications & Warning Watch Analyst to support the United States Forces Korea (USFK), Assistant Chief of Staff, J2 (ACofS, J2) JIOC-K in their mission to provide timely intelligence to Commander, USFK and Combined Forces Command, the combined battle staff, and war fighter component commanders!

The JIOC-K's efforts focus on detecting enemy threats, managing intelligence, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) activities, analyzing enemy actions and information to determine enemy's probable courses of action.

The overall analytic effort strengthens Defense Intelligence and provides relevant, timely, objective, and cogent all source Defense Intelligence to the Commander and other users, and transforming theater intelligence activities to better leverage the capabilities of the theater and global intelligence communities and safeguard United States personnel and interests within the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO). What you will do

  • Supports worldwide monitoring and maintain situational awareness of all-source intelligence, collection and operational information related to the KTO; recognizing indicators suggesting potential enemy threats or attacks
  • Gathers, reviews and collates message traffic and other communication from intelligence, operational, and open sources to alert appropriate personnel and organizations to new developments and significant changes
  • Conducts initial research and analysis of complex operational issues
  • Prepares and coordinates forecasts and crisis situation assessments and intelligence appraisals
  • Transfer relevant finished intelligence products to customers and pursues feedback to ensure assessments meet customer needs
  • Coordinates with allied partners to ensure timely sharing of information on potential enemy threats or attacks
  • Additional duties as assigned or required

What we are looking for

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
  • Position will require shift work on 24/7/365 team; must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, with the continued ability to obtain a Poly

Bonus points for...

  • 3 years experience with Bachelors, or High School Diploma and 7 years relevant experience
  • Recent applicable experience within the last 2 years
  • Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) test score 3/3 or equivalent in Korean and English
  • Translation experience and an excellent command of the English and Korean language, with the ability to provide clear and concise, oral and written communication
  • Experience working in a coalition environment
  • Familiarity with the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA)
  • Korea experience

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
