The Opportunity:

Join CACI as a Problem/Risk Manager for the provision of IT services under the SCITLS contract supporting USSTRATCOM. You'll be a key member of our innovative IT Service Management Office (ITSMO), driving problem and risk identification and resolution/mitigation efforts across the organization.

In this role, you'll establish and maintain a comprehensive Problem Management database in the IT Service Management System, oversee risk management processes, and coordinate with various teams to identify and mitigate risks. You'll be responsible for in-depth incident analysis, trend identification, and driving the process to resolve problems. This position offers the opportunity to work autonomously, developing methodologies and presenting solutions to complex problems. Your strategic thinking and analytical skills will be crucial in balancing reactive problem-solving with proactive risk management.

This position supports U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska, and is contingent upon award of the USSTRATCOM SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

Problem/Risk Manager, Senior:
  • Establishes and maintains a Problem Management database of errors/issues
  • Applies expertise conducting problem management, diagnosing the underlying root cause of incidents, events, and issues to identify solutions
  • Identifies, tracks, and interprets trend analyses to identify resolutions for potential and ongoing issues
  • Creates/implements teams to target or resolve specific problems and facilitates restoration of enterprise capabilities in coordination with the Government
  • Engages and coordinates technical resources and actions across IT support teams
  • Performs notifications and escalations IAW applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and directives for reporting Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs), Director's Critical Information Requirements (DCIRs), Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs), and other information requirements
  • Performs trend analysis on incidents, developing and publishing reports, as directed
  • Manages and mitigates risks proactively to prevent problems/issues; implements Issue Management if risk cannot be mitigated
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in science (BS) or a bachelor's degree in arts (BA)
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Problem Management and/or Risk Management
  • A bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET* (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field OR
  • A bachelor's degree or higher from an institution designated as a Center of Academic Excellence (CAE)* in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) OR
  • Possess and maintain the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) CCYB 002A Cybersecurity for Program Managers Credential. This credential is obtained by completing an 8-hour course and requires recertification every three years. If not already held, the successful candidate must obtain this credential within 6 months of hiring, completed outside of regular work hours. The employee will be responsible for maintaining this credential throughout their employment by completing the required recertification every three years. AND
  • Have completed the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) CLE 074 Cybersecurity Throughout DoD Acquisition course. This is a 4-hour course. If not already completed, the successful candidate must finish this course within 6 months of hiring, completed outside of regular work hours.


Desired:
  • ITIL 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support (CDS) certification OR
  • Completion of the ITIL 4 Practitioner: Problem Management Course

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,000 - $163,800
