The Opportunity:
Join CACI as a Senior Configuration Manager for the provision of IT services under the SCITLS contract supporting USSTRATCOM. You will lead our configuration management efforts across the program, playing a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and traceability of the IT infrastructure and services. In this position, you'll manage all ADPE hardware and software in approved IT Service Management System databases, implement and maintain configuration management processes, and utilize automated CM tools to enforce CM policies and procedures.
Your expertise will be vital in regulating the change process, ensuring only approved and validated changes are incorporated into configuration items. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with change management and release management teams, directly contributing to the stability and efficiency of the IT environment.
This position supports U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha, Nebraska, and is contingent upon award of the USSTRATCOM SCITLS contract.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
Configuration Manager, Senior:
- Guides documentation and review of CM findings and coordinates corrective actions
- Ensures that ADPE hardware and software are managed in an ITSM-approved database, and documented IAW Personal Property Management (PPM) requirements, stored, and disbursed
- Evaluates baseline deviations and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
- Recommends and uses automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures
- Coordinates the release of Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Notifications
- Conducts Technical Review Board and Change Review Board meetings
- Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into configuration items
- Functions as a technical expert in configuration management
- May supervise others
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in science (BS) or a bachelor's degree in arts (BA)
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Configuration Management
- ITIL 4 Foundations
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET* (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field OR
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an institution designated as a Center of Academic Excellence (CAE)* in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) OR
- Possess and maintain the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) CCYB 002A Cybersecurity for Program Managers Credential. This credential is obtained by completing an 8-hour course and requires recertification every three years. If not already held, the successful candidate must obtain this credential within 6 months of hiring, completed outside of regular work hours. The employee will be responsible for maintaining this credential throughout their employment by completing the required recertification every three years. AND
- Have completed the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) CLE 074 Cybersecurity Throughout DoD Acquisition course. This is a 4-hour course. If not already completed, the successful candidate must finish this course within 6 months of hiring, completed outside of regular work hours.
- *Note: ABET accreditation or CAE designation must be current at the time the degree was awarded.
