The candidate will function as a Material Handler with Spares & Equipment Consolidation efforts out of Huntsville, Alabama. This will consist of non-major end item spares and other staged equipment that will be built into individual kits. The candidate will assist with the packaging support for shipment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). All kits will be Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) specific Missile Defense parts. The candidate will be a member of a support team and will perform all duties under direct supervision and assist with the logistical efforts involving the THAAD KSA program.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support for any logistical analysis involving THAAD specific parts.
  • Performs packaging, handling, and storage & transportation (PHS&T) in support of KSA operations.
  • Provides and manages the data inputs and records any resulting actions within the Repair Center (RC) database.
  • Reconciliation of inventory discrepancies in any of the storage warehouses through monthly inventories ensuring 100% accountability of stock items.
  • Inventories and prepares THAAD specific parts for shipment as individual kits.
  • Verifies all parts are correctly packaged and marked for shipping from CONUS to KSA, including hazardous materials HAZMAT items.
  • Performs coordination with the freight forwarder for transportation and monitoring of all parts and equipment.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • U.S. Passport.
  • Must possess an active security clearance SECRET level or higher.
  • Must pass a background check to include criminal and credit.
  • Ability to apply appropriate packaging, handling, storage, and transportation standards.
  • Ability to manage and account for inventory.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with packaging & shipping.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with the THAAD or Patriot system(s).
  • Knowledge or experience with U.S. Army Logistical Management System.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
