In this role, you will help accelerate the modernization of medical readiness and care, enhance integrated acquisition and contracting processes, and support data-driven decision-making to optimize combat support and healthcare delivery for beneficiaries and stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide senior-level Human Capital Management support to the Federal/ Military employees for new hire orientation. Typical tasks include creating civilian hiring action packets, conducting recurring meetings with DHA business partners including; United States Army Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center (C5ISR), advising personnel developing performance goals and objectives, and other daily manpower activities as defined.
- Support RMED and SDD training and awareness activities including those aligned with Manpower Individual Development Plan (IDP) activities.
- Monitor readiness requirements for military personnel and serve as the SDD liaison with the DHA Military Personnel Support Branch to coordinate all military personnel activities.
- Assist with identification of manpower requirements; development of manpower programming factors; and management of military performance management and promotion programs.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Knowledgeable of manpower, performance management, workforce planning and human capital management.
- Required comprehensive understanding of the Army, Navy and Air Force military personnel and manpower programs and regulations governing those programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint.
- Familiarity of the DoD and the Defense Health Agency is highly desired.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail.
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
