The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Tools Lead to serve as the primary point of contact to oversee the development, implementation and management of IT systems and tools within USSTRATCOM's IT enterprise. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and security of IT systems that support strategic operations.

The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

Tools Lead, Senior:
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge in network management and engineering services, including device O&M, network planning and analysis, and lifecycle management
  • Oversees the network performance to ensure optimal operation, identifying and addressing potential issues
  • Provides technical problem solving for customer support of disaster recovery/COOP, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and change management
  • Diagnoses network connectivity problems and implements effective solutions
  • Configures network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, to enhance performance and security
  • Implements and updates security measures to protect the network from vulnerabilities and external threats
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
  • May supervise others


Qualifications:
  • Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems management, with a focus on leadership roles
  • Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 451 - Advanced; FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training

AND
  • One or more SolarWinds certifications, including SolarWinds Observability self-hosted (aka Hybrid Cloud Observability) or other certifications related to network monitoring
  • CCNA/CCNP strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in IT systems design, development, and integration
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,000 - $136,500
