ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Personnel Tracking and Locating (PTL) Program Lead to join our team in Sterling, Virginia.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversees and leads a staff of engineers, project managers, material management, and technical personnel, both domestic and abroad.
- Travel TDY to U.S. Embassies in critical threat locations around the world.
- Responds to Government requirements and timely completion of task order milestones.
- Identifies and projects current and future requirements to ensure consistent operation and availability of PTL systems. Exercises good judgment in using the necessary authority to properly manage and execute the contract.
- Reports the operational and maintenance status of Government-owned and operated PTL hardware, software, spares, and repair parts. Identifies replenishment requirements and recommends upgrades and/or enhancements to maximize effectiveness and functionality of the PTL program.
- Controls project plans to ensure program objectives are met; coordinates and integrates project activities; manages, leads and administers project resources, takes corrective action when problems arise; participates in phase, milestone, and final project reviews; and monitors the quality assurance process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated exceptional expertise in the technical aspects of practical and sustainable life-safety programs for designated regions abroad.
- Familiar with U.S. and host country laws, regulations and policies governing the implementation of PTL and coordination of all associated departments, agencies, private contractors and organizations mandated with national security.
- Ability to work effectively as a team and under minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail. Excellent writing and verbal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
- Willing to travel to OCONUS facilities in critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions. Willing to travel domestically for training and program coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree plus ten (10) years professional work experience in a military or government environment.
- Certification (or work toward certification) as a Project Management Professional.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for SCI access.
Physical Requirements:
- Mainly works in an indoor office environment- uses a computer and other office equipment and moves about to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
