Background

• Engineers cloud environment (Azure) with emphasis on data governance and catalog implementation, including experience with Microsoft Purview and Advana data catalog
• Engages with senior IT and data leaders to provide in-progress reviews
• Performs cloud virtualization system setup & engineering while adhering to zero trust principles, particularly focusing on data security and access management
• Manages system views, data catalog maintenance, and resolves cloud infrastructure issues
• Implements and maintains zero trust data pillar requirements, ensuring proper data classification, access controls, and security measures
• Supports Scrum Master task planning and estimation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 14 years of experience or master's degree + 12 years of experience
• 16 years of professional work experience
• Experience analyzing cloud requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to implement cloud system specifications
• Demonstrated experience with data catalog implementation and management, preferably with MS Azure Purview Data Catalog
• Experience with enterprise data governance and security frameworks in cloud environments
• Experience interacting with senior IT and data leaders and preparing professional briefing products supporting technology integration solutions

Preferred

• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles, specifically as they relate to data security and the Zero Trust Data requirements
