Primary Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Government Technical Managers (GTMs) and subject matter experts (SMEs) to refine, enhance, and expand existing prototype automation tools.
- Design and implement a development and integration plan to transition prototypes into full production-ready capabilities within the HF operational baseline.
- Conduct thorough software testing and validation using live mission data.
- Deliver well-documented software solutions, including:
- Software installation plans
- Technical reports capturing system performance and findings
- Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) for GTM-identified users to ensure smooth field adoption of the new automation tool.
- Support proof-of-concept development, integration, and verification of system enhancements based on evolving mission needs.
Required Skills
Baseline knowledge of Linux environments and systems.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of Agile software development principles and workflows.
- Experience in AI/ML techniques and applications is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work across R&D and operational boundaries with clarity and precision.
