Responsibilities

OBXtek has an immediate need for highly qualified Senior System Integration Engineers to support our new U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDA&CP) and Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Support Services contract (Hemisphere) in the Colorado Springs, CO and Albuquerque, NM areas.

Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only.

Responsibilities

We are seeking highly qualified Senior System Integration Engineer candidates for the following positions located in the Colorado Springs, CO and the Albuquerque, NM areas:
  • Senior Integration Hardware Engineer located in the Albuquerque, NM area
  • Senior Integration Principal Engineer located in the Colorado Springs, CO area
  • Lead Infrastructure Integration Engineer. located in the Colorado Springs, CO area

We are seeking a highly qualified Strategic Integration Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the following position located in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

The Senior System Integration Engineers shall have:
  • Extensive knowledge in ground based space Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and integration of hardware.
  • Advanced ability to work with multiple stakeholders to support antenna installation at numerous sites.
  • Deep experience with OCONUS fielding preferred with knowledge on overseas installation requirements.
  • Extensive experience with Specialty Technical Work related to HWIL integration & range capability assessments.
  • Deep knowledge in System of Systems engineering background and management of ICD's across multiple facilities.
  • Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of joint intelligence operations, space control methodologies and networks, highly technical understanding of space systems and operations.

The System Architect Specialist SME shall have:
  • Extensive experience working on highly classified space programs.
  • Extensive experience in Agile processes and implementation for space range organization and activities.
  • Expertise in organizational structure, data analytics, and visualization.
  • In depth knowledge of Space Force command and control infrastructure and platforms.
  • Extensive experience working directly with Space Force operators.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Salary Range: $175k - $245k

Qualifications

Required:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active TS/SCI clearance/access or TS/SCI Eligible
  • Current CI polygraph or willingness to take one
  • Earned Masters degree in a system Integration-related discipline, e.g., Systems Engineering, System Development, Project Management, Aerospace Engineering, or Aeronautical Physics
  • At least 20 years of relevant system integration engineering experience in DoD

Desired:

  • Specific direct experience performing system integration engineering tasks in the U.S. Air Force and/or the U.S. Space Force space system design, acquisition, and development environments
  • Specific direct experience performing system integration engineering tasks with space and intelligence backgrounds
  • Specific direct knowledge and experience with system architecture-related activity associated with Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Space Situational Awareness (SSA), Space Control, satellite design, launch operations and space system operations
