Background

• Interfaces with government, diamond team, and users to architect and design data warehouse approach and cloud infrastructure with emphasis on Azure implementations
• Leads engineering and administrator activities for cloud-based data solutions
• Develops server and storage virtualization strategy incorporating Microsoft Purview and advana data catalog
• Implements and maintains Zero Trust Data Pillar requirements, ensuring proper data classification, access controls, and security measures
• Engineers cloud environment with focus on data governance and catalog implementation
• Supports Scrum Master in planning and sizing tasks for cloud implementation projects

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree + 12 years or Master Degree + 10 years experience or 16 years of experience
• Experience analyzing user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications for cloud environments
• Demonstrated expertise with Azure cloud services, particularly related to data management
• Experience with enterprise data governance and security frameworks in cloud environments

Preferred

• Knowledge of data catalog implementation and management, preferably with MS Azure Purview
