The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Journeyman Training Manager to create strategies to improve the skills, productivity, quality of work and performance of SCITLS employees. The training manager will establish the training and development needs for the SCITLS program and promote training initiatives that build employees' job effectiveness. The training manager will also develop training strategy, oversee its execution and measure the impact on employee performance.
The work location for this position is Omaha Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Journeyman Training Manager to create strategies to improve the skills, productivity, quality of work and performance of SCITLS employees. The training manager will establish the training and development needs for the SCITLS program and promote training initiatives that build employees' job effectiveness. The training manager will also develop training strategy, oversee its execution and measure the impact on employee performance.
The work location for this position is Omaha Nebraska. This position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
- Manage training for all contractor personnel, including subcontractors and teaming partners for required TO training from start date and annually thereafter
- Manages training of personnel with the appropriate industry certifications and/or training to perform the functional role assigned for applicable technical environment, new products scheduled for release, and refresher training
- Conducts research to develop/revise comprehensive training courses; determines training objectives and oversees development of IT course curriculums
- Leads creation of course materials, handouts, instructional aids, audio/visual materials, and similar teaching aids
- Performs classroom training and tests, and evaluates performance
- Guides creation of computer-based training modules and web-based instruction
- Assesses instructor/trainer performance and takes corrective action to improve courses
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in science (BS) or a bachelor's degree in arts (BA)
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience project/program management or PMO operations.
- Experience as a Training Manager
- Experience developing and implementing training programs
- Knowledge of various training methods including coaching, workshops, classroom training, mentoring and e-learning programs
- Ability to track the performance of training programs, write reports and recommend strategies for improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding IT and leadership skills
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Proven experience in program procurement operations.
