Job Description:
Requires a Systems Engineer Level 2 with strong system administration skills. The Systems Engineer shall focus on system health and sustainment by providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk services. The engineer shall monitor the "health and status" of systems and networks. Responsibilities encompasses multiple and interrelated functions which sustain and enhance current and future fielded systems.

Job Description:
Requires a Systems Engineer Level 2 with strong system administration skills. The Systems Engineer shall focus on system health and sustainment by providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk services. The engineer shall monitor the "health and status" of systems and networks. Responsibilities encompasses multiple and interrelated functions which sustain and enhance current and future fielded systems.
The Level 2 Systems Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
- Experience configuring, installing, managing and troubleshooting UNIX and Windows operating systems to include both GOTS/COTS software.
- Experience supporting IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices.
- Experience optimizing system operations and resource utilization and performing system capacity analysis.
- In depth understanding of computer networks with ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
- Experience providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- At least 5 years analyzing and correcting data flow issues with systems.
- Experience in understanding network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system related issues.
- Working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi.
- A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Fourteen (14) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
