Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in an environment where you can design the architecture and develop solutions to meet the organization’s needs while enhancing your skillset and advancing your career.
Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking development team creating enterprise level web base services.
This team designs, creates, maintains, and troubleshoots multiple web-based applications that are deployed in both cloud and local on-premise environments.
Required Experience:
Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level I (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP)
Demonstratable work experience with one or more of the following:
o Python
o Java
o .Net C#
o PHP
o Node.js
o HTML
o CSS
o JavaScript
o Vue.js
o React
Experience with MariaDB, MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle
Experience leading small teams and/or mentoring junior developers
Experience deploying services in Linux environments
Nginx, Apache Tomcat, and/or IIS experience
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies
Good interpersonal skills
Strong desire to learn and grow
Desired Skills:
Experience with AWS (e.g. EC2, ASG, Lambda, etc.) or Azure cloud environments
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, and Python
Experience working in an Agile development environment and Git
