Job Description:
Advise and assist Government stakeholders in optimizing the use of Intelligence Information Technology (IT) systems within USTRATCOM J2.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise and assist Government stakeholders in optimizing the use of Intelligence Information Technology (IT) systems.
- Research, analyze, and document Combatant Command (CCMD) intelligence IT requirements to support mission effectiveness.
- Assist in developing advanced IT-related concepts and technical program activities including business processes and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
- Support the development and modification of Operational Plans (OPLANs) related to IT.
- Ensure documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement of Government-determined key IT processes and procedures.
- Recommend proactive IT process improvements and assist with the implementation of solutions.
- Participate in Government-led working groups focused on IT, Data, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML).
- Support the integration, operation, and testing of new and enhanced mission-critical applications, including hardware and software.
- Collaborate with system administrators to ensure user access to core analytical toolsets and maintain a compendium of application user guides.
- Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for geospatial information systems, including system environment documentation
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant certification
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
- Supporting the integration and operation of mission applications and assisting in the identification, demonstration, installation, and testing of new and enhanced applications
- Developing user guides to assist end users in utilizing tools and applications
- Windows and Linux system administration, including patching, deploying applications, securing operating systems, and documenting changes through a change management process
- Relevant experience with and/or education using a container solution (i.e. OpenShift) in both Cloud and on-premises architecture
- High school diploma
