Responsibilities:
• The Contractor shall provide Physical, Personnel, Special, Special Access Program (SAP) and Industrial Security specialists to assist, monitor, and advise on all aspects of security activities
• Manages all aspects of personnel security and security clearance lifecycle for personnel under the cognizance of the SSO.
• Primary duties will involve SCI personnel security and will include but are not limited to initial investigation preparation/submissions, monitoring/providing updates on clearance status, access nominations, indoctrinations, debriefings, sending/receiving visit certifications, event SCI security management, access control, reportable information processing, file management, and other duties as assigned
• Ensures only authorized individuals have facility access
• Verifies clearances for all visitors and command members as necessary utilizing appropriate command, DoD and IC systems of record.
• Supports SOCCENT personnel in processing incoming visit requests via command, DoD and IC systems of record, validating appropriate access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral information for assigned and visiting personnel.
• Gains and maintains access to the Defense Information System for Security, SOCCENT
• Electronic Badging and Access Control System (AMAG), Record Message Traffic, and other Command, DoD and IC systems of record, to include successor systems as required.
• Other duties may include participation in security inspections, providing support to other SCI security disciplines including Information Security, Industrial security, and providing guidance/recommendations/implementation assistance with overall process improvement
Required qualifications/skills:
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 8 years Physical, Personnel and Special Security experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with operational level experience preferred.
• Training requirements
o Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Special Security Office Course (SSOC)
o CDSE Introduction to Personnel Security PS113.16.
o CDSE Identifying and Safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PIl) DS-IF 101.06.
• Obtain within 1 year of appointment: DCSA CDSE Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
• Security Clearance: Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
