ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior IT Systems Manager to join our team in Herndon, VA.
The Senior IT Systems Manager provides senior oversight for analysis, recommendations, development, and implementation of classified programs.

The Senior IT Systems Manager provides senior oversight for analysis, recommendations, development, and implementation of classified programs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Senior oversight of Software Sustainment, Maintenance, and Development Oversight of major software projects, including POA&M, status updates, etc.
- Supervise performance for technical assessments/acceptability of software and hardware
- Present system status updates to stakeholders
- Supports user acceptance testing, deployment, and data fixes Obtain, compile, and summarize information for use by others
- Recommends improvements and/or business process improvements of system software and hardware.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for Team Members
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience (6 additional years of experience required in lieu of degree).
- IAT DoD 8570 Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners).
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizen
- Active Top Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
