- Gather user network requirements using various methodologies to create technical documentation, system requirements documents, system security requirements documents, and system test plans.
- Install, maintain, and evaluate network and communication systems.
- Perform technical refreshes of routers, switches, and firewall devices at customer sites.
- Deploy device configurations and verify their operability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues involving various protocols, topologies, and networking hardware.
- Provide testing and pilot support for new network hardware and configuration deployments.
- Conduct network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies.
- Utilize knowledge of internetworking, computer systems, routers, switches, firewalls, and peripherals to enhance current network designs and collaborate with team members to develop new designs.
- Apply technical and business experience to improve processes and procedures for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure.
- Work independently and collaboratively to enhance network solutions and contribute to service improvements.
- Provide excellent and professional customer service in all interactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant IT experience specializing in networking technologies, specifically with Cisco switches and routers, and resolving LAN/WAN issues.
- Experience with Cisco Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and Digital Network Administration (DNAC) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- Top Secret security clearance.
