System Administrator

Founded in 1999 in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, Cadre5 provides innovative technical solutions to our customers locally and nationally. Our Cadre5 Lab Partners division has partnered with Y-12 National Security Complex to recruit a qualified System Administrator with in-depth knowledge and skills in Archer EGRC system.

The Y-12 National Security Complex is a premier manufacturing facility dedicated to making our nation and the world a safer place and plays a vital role in the Department of Energy's Nuclear Security Enterprise. Y-12 helps ensure a safe and effective U.S. nuclear weapons deterrent. Y-12 has evolved to become the complex the nation looks to for support in protecting America's future, developing innovative solutions in manufacturing technologies, prototyping, safeguards and security, technical computing and environmental stewardship.

This is a full-time, permanent position that will work a combination of On- and Off-Site with 10% travel. This will be about a 7-month contact.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5 to 10 years of related experience or Associate's degree in a technical field and 10 to 15 years of related experience. Requires demonstrated in-depth knowledge and skills in Archer EGRC system.
  • Knowledge in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining EGRC Archer system hybrid architecture: both bare metal and PaaS.
  • Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST) risk management framework and family of controls.
  • Knowledge and a thorough understanding of principles with regard to Archer domains.
  • Knowledge of supporting risk management through risk identification, risk assessment, risk decisions, risk treatment, risk monitoring, and organizational context.
  • Skill in facilitating EGRC Archer interoperability and integration efforts with internal and external customers from on premise and cloud service platform.
  • Skill in presentation and technical and operational competence to support day-to-day operations: IT environment optimizations, workflow analysis, environment
  • updates, technology alignment, incident workflow development, and configuring reporting requirements.
  • Skill in supporting control assessment management and compliance (including common controls).
  • Skill in automating and supporting policy management authoring, staff communication and awareness, and established process for exceptions.
  • Skill in reporting and delivering metrics for lifecycle authorization and FISMA requirements.
  • Skill in the design, installation, configuration and deployment expertise of the EGRC Archer solution.
  • Ability to administer EGRC Archer system accounts and to create, track, and report workflows and approvals.
  • Ability to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation).
  • Ability to coordinate system requirements and changes with Y-12 and cloud practitioner team.
  • Ability to install, configure, deploy, and maintain the assessment and authorization module, regulatory and corporate compliance module, and other Archer capabilities.
  • Ability to conduct and support testing and quality assurance procedures for configured solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate EGRC Archer application configuration, use cases, and ability to provide expert technical support to enterprise-wide cybersecurity program staff.
  • Ability to establish real-time reporting and dashboards across the spectrum of EGRC Archer installed modules
  • Ability to synchronize with staff to gather required information to adjust or enable the architecture, implementation, integration and support for Archer capabilities in
  • support of the cybersecurity program.
  • This position requires and an active Department of Energy "Q" or "L" clearance. A "Top Secret (TS)" or "Secret" Department of Defense clearance will also suffice. This requires US Citizenship.
