ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team. This position is located onsite in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprints.
  • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
  • Interact with project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Communicate with other technical project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.
  • Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.
  • Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
  • PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DoD programs.
  • Experience with IT systems and cloud-based technologies.
  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or Expert System Engineering Professional (ESEP).
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • ITIL certification.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have an active/current Secret securityclearance.


Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations."
