Position Overview:
Peerless is seeking a Web Designer supporting The Joint Warfare Analysis Center in Dahlgren, VA. The candidate will have experience analyzing, formatting and presenting data from simulations, into interactive visualizations, providing guidance to the design and composition of data which could be interpreted by a broad military audience. We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Developer with a strong background in data visualization, leveraging skills in web development, to support defense simulation programs. The ideal candidate will have experience transforming complex simulation data into intuitive and interactive visual formats for a broad military audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, interpret, and format data derived from defense simulations.
Work as part of an integrated team of data scientist, computer scientist and software engineers.
Design and develop interactive visualizations to support operational analysis and decision-making.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in UI/UX development or data visualization. Experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) clients preferred. Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred
Clearance Required:
Active TS/SCI required; may require SAP eligibility.
