Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $70,500 - $148,100

CACI is seeking a NAVSEA on site team member performing fleet modernization, logistical and configuration support for 13 US Navy vessels homeported in Yokosuka, Japan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide equipment configuration management and technical support to ship's force using Model Based Product Support (MBPS), Navy Data Environment (NDE) and other DoD logistics and technical IT programs.
- Provide first line logistics and configuration management research for shipboard personnel, Port Engineers, ISEA and Program Office personnel as well as ship class Configuration Data Managers.
- Provide data, identify issues and possible courses of action to government personnel so they may make informed decisions on the status of shipboard alterations, equipment configuration and logistics support requirements.
- Ensure sight validation data for all shipboard equipment installations and upgrades performed during maintenance periods is accurately reflected in the ship's onboard configuration database.
- Prepare or review all required reports, ensuring all stakeholders have the most up to date, accurate information delivered on time.
- Ensure all contractually required reports are accurately prepared and delivered to meet the government client's schedule.
- Work closely with all stakeholders to recommend and develop potential system design changes as well as possible solutions and implementation procedures to ensure accurate equipment configuration for all newly installed equipment onboard.
- Perform duties ethically, safely, and responsibly, following all government and company rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active DOD Secret security clearance.
- Certified NAVSEA SEA-21 OSLR
- Knowledge of NAVSEA Model Based Product Support (MBPS) software
- Possess USN ship experience
- Five or more years of relevant work experience
- Must be physically capable to climb ladders to move between multiple equipment/components on board ship and carry small packages (less than 20 lbs) if needed.
