The Opportunity:

The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of their IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.

CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Senior Installation Tech Specialist to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency. The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Information Services (CIS) contract.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team in the the installation, configuration, and deployment of end-user devices including desktops, VOIP phones, tablets, and peripherals.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for device installation and configuration.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to end-user devices and escalate as necessary.
  • Manage inventory of end-user devices and accessories, ensuring adequate stock for deployments and replacements.
  • Configure and register voice and video communications devices in Cisco Call Manager.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on proper installation and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with software teams to ensure all required applications are properly installed and configured on devices.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all installations, configurations, and troubleshooting activities. Stay current with the latest end-user device technologies and recommend improvements to our device strategy.
  • Participate in project planning for large-scale device rollouts or upgrades.
  • Provide excellent customer service to end-users during device deployments and support interactions.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 3 years focused on end-user device deployment and management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating system, Cisco voice and video solutions, and common business applications.
  • Experience investigating system failures and performing root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices for end-user devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 8140 Certification such as CompTIA Sec+.
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with ability to obtain a polygraph.


Preferred:
  • Proficiency in classified IT environments, terminology, Equipment Life Cycles and IT Asset Management
  • Experience with imaging and deployment tools such as SCCM, or similar.
  • Experience influencing others regarding policies, practices, and procedures

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$68,400-$143,700
