The Opportunity:

Are you an Information Technology Manager who is looking to manage Teams, as well as provide technical support? If so, this is the position for you! CACI is seeking a Senior Techni c al Manager w i th hands on technical experience in the IT infrastructure and System Integration fields. Your primary responsibility in this role is to utilize your past hands-on Infrastructure and Integration experience ensuring all components within the customer's systems connect and operate seamlessly together. You will work closely with the Government, ensuring the Teams on-site delivery, working to deconflict dependencies, and mitigate risks. As the Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on the technical elements of the program, ensuring customer satisfaction, and mission success that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities :
  • Manage a Team of Engineers, delivering and supporting an internal Cyber Team.
  • Design an architecture that considers how all components integrate for the customer.
  • Integrate the technical, programmatic, and customer engagement efforts for the continued building, accreditation and manag e ment of an IT enclave that integrates multiple data feeds and applications, to include hands-on work as a technical specialist.
  • Proactively assist Government customers in identifying and documenting requirements, incorporating those into a project plan, and tasking/monitoring the CACI team in accordance with customer priorities.
  • You will also be expected to pitch in regularly with hands-on tasks, project needs, as your skillsets align.
  • Manage staffing requirements and activities from vendors and subcontractors as required in coordination with CACI and customer management.
  • Apply technical and programmatic knowledge to ensure customer and mission success within the cost and schedule parameters of the program.
  • Assist the Program's Financial Manager in collecting Team leave plans and communicating with the Government regarding forecasting.
  • Prepare regular reports and briefings on technical project status to customers, including constraints/assumptions impacting future progress of the program.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and contractual policies.
  • Ensure and maintain appropriate program/project documents/artifacts for all efforts.
  • Work onsite 5 days a week.
  • Occasional travel between McLean and Bethesda.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • TS/SCI with Poly
  • BA/BS and 7+ years of experience (10+ with no degree).
  • Hands-on engineering principals, project management, and people management experience.
  • Experience in designing, installing and managing VMware environment.
  • Experience managing Active Directory Domains, site replication, DFS, and Printer Servers.
  • Familiarity with application layer protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/S, Web Sockets).
  • Senior experience in installing and configuring complex system software, utilities, data bases, application software, and o perating sys t ems.
  • Experience implementing patch mana g ement solution for a domain environment (WSUS/SCCM or other).
  • Experience designing, implementing, maintaining shared storage environments in support of local domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of implementation, management, and maintenance of a back-up solution to provide restore accessibility in a disaster scenario.
  • Proficiency in hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and/or training to multiple levels of staff and leadership, including the ability to translate complex technical terms into non-technical language.
  • Ability to ensure the best performance from the team through effective team building, conflict mediation and coaching.
  • Ability to professionally represent the program and report on status at customer meetings to include coordination meetings with other stakeholders.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$102,900 - $216,200
