The content manager will lead a shared drive reorganization across multiple divisions and provide content management for various SharePoint sites to enhance organization, efficiency, and collaboration. This role is part of a knowledge management team and is responsible for the following:

Shared Drive Reorganization
Conduct frequent meetings with stakeholders to address their needs, review progress, and provide updates.
Work with teams to remove and archive outdated and redundant files, in accordance with the project plan and records management and retention policies.
Provide clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
Manage the implementation of a standardized folder structure, including naming conventions and content approval process.
Develop and distribute guides, checklists, and best practice documentation to support teams in maintaining their shared drives.
Oversee compliance with content management policies and provide ongoing reinforcement to ensure organization.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the shared drive reorganization, adjusting strategies as needed.
Provide training sessions to ensure stakeholders understand and adhere to the new shared drive folder structure.
Be patient and mindful of stakeholders’ resource and time constraints, while providing flexible and practical solutions.
SharePoint Content Management
Build, edit, and publish web pages using SharePoint.
Ensure content and design adhere to web standards such as accessibility, plain language, style guide and other standards and guidelines.
Collaborate with web developer, knowledge manager, and other stakeholders to present information online in the most effective, factual, and user-friendly manner.
Maintain a content style guide and other appropriate guidance for each of the webpages/platforms based on government and industry best practices for website design and content management.
Develop project scopes and schedules, ensuring proper communication to all relevant stakeholders while ensuring feasibility.

Job Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Must have an active Top Secret with SCI clearance
Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365 applications, web development, and graphic design
Strong understanding of content management, knowledge management, and project management
Familiarity with content governance and records management
Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead, influence, and train stakeholders
Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing competing projects, and meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Highly organized, creative, and proactive in driving initiatives to completion

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee
to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in a standard office or conference room setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer.
To visit other company sites, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fly in an aircraft, both of which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Employees must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
