Strategic Analysis is looking for a candidate to provide support to ACO Advanced Resilience as a technical advisor and mission partner relationship manager across a varied program portfolio. The role is expected to split on-site time both at DARPA HQ and relevant mission partner locations. Successful candidates will lead activities in project management, technical and programmatic risk analysis, Concept of Operation (CONOP)/Concept of Employment (CONEMP) development, senior-level engagements, and technology transition. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, engaging mission partners, tracking technology use cases, and ensuring synchronization between DARPA, performers, and transition entities.
The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in DoD/IC technical research, testing, and evaluation. Exemplary candidates have demonstrated ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next-generation research and prototyping, preferably with hands-on leadership of research and development programs. Past experience working within the US Department of Defense or Intelligence Community in a similar capacity is required due to the highly technical nature of the role. Experience working collaboratively as part of a large team is strongly preferred. Exemplary candidates will also have demonstrated an ability to work independently to address rapidly evolving technical requirements in a research environment.
Requirements:
• Experience with tactical network engineering and operations
• Experience with DoD or IC research and development programs
• Experience formally documenting requirements and supporting evidence
• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with at least 5-8 years of experience or 10+ years of relevant military experience
• Ability to work with little oversight to take abstract problems, provide detailed analysis, and generate recommendations, both individually and as part of a team managing a DARPA research and prototyping program
Desired Capabilities and Characteristics:
• Experience with information assurance product use, such as COMSEC devices and key management, classified network accreditation, DOD cyber security activities, application of cross domain guards
• Experience with Red Teaming, Blue Teaming, or IV&V testing
• Excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to perform proof reading and quality control on technical documents and slides
• Excellent communication skills - both written (to include PowerPoint) and oral; must be able to concisely summarize and efficiently communicate the essential elements of a concept quantitatively and comprehensively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Clearance:Minimum Required; DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to maintain SCI and Special Access Program access.
