The Principal Support Administrator provides comprehensive administrative support to the office of assignment. Performs a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
- Manages the office calendar and schedule, making appointments and travel arrangements for staff members.
- This includes follow-up, tracking, monitoring, coordination through multiple levels, and bringing the process/program to completion.
- Plan, schedule, organize, and execute meetings, conferences and off-sites; may participate in meetings and events as a recorder or working group member; may brief or present administrative support related information. May represent work unit at meetings, events, forums
- Gather budget requirements and/or monitor spending plans related to project, function, or business area.
- Greet and/or escort all office visitors and guests.
- Research and/or retrieve data and information from databases.
- Analyze statistics and develop metrics to evaluate and summarize process or program results.
- Handles incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
- Prepares and edits documents, including memos, reports, and presentations.
- Assists with meeting logistics, including preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and distributing meeting materials.
- Performs general office duties, such as maintaining files and records, ordering supplies, and greeting visitors.
- Assists with budget tracking and expense reports.
- Provides general administrative support to team members and managers.
- Handles confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
