Lead Flight Test Engineer Location: Berkeley, Missouri (Onsite) This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Employment Type: Permanent Apex Systems is currently hiring a Lead Flight Test Engineer opportunity supporting advanced military aircraft programs. We’re looking for individuals with experience in flight test, flight operations, or mission execution environments, especially those who have worked closely with aircraft testing, supported test events, or been involved in planning or executing flight test activities. This role is hands-on and sits at the center of mission planning, execution, and coordination across engineering and flight operations teams. Preferred Qualifications: • An active U.S. Security Clearance. • Experience working on a flight test program, preferably as a flight test engineer. • Experience with the principles of flight test or experience directly supporting flight test operations. • Experience leading flight test execution in a control room environment as a test conductor and/or test director. • Experience authoring test plans and test cards in support of a military flight test program. • Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM). • Experience supporting a military flight test program.
