Job Description
Project Details:
Defense contractor developing small, low-cost missile seekers on a funded program. This role is systems-focused (less software-heavy) and centers on radar phenomenology analysis, with heavy modeling and simulation of radar performance for a compact RF seeker.
Client is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to join a growing team developing cutting-edge seeker solutions. You will serve as a technical contributor on our integrated product team in the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) product line. As a senior-level contributor, you will be responsible for deeply impactful contributions to next generation military autonomy. Members on this development team drive collaborative value creation that is greater than the sum of their individual contributions. You will have the opportunity to participate in efforts across the full-spectrum of technology maturation ranging from Strategic Initiatives, IRAD/CRAD R&D prototypes, EMD units, LRIP units to full rate production systems. You will work with other engineering staff & team leaders to grow our knowledge and capabilities through engineering changes, lessons learned, insights, Agile retrospectives and product/process improvements in Radar seeker technology.
The ideal candidate will have a balanced experience mix covering analysis, design, prototyping, integration, test, and/or verification relevant to RF/Radar systems. Additionally, the candidate must also understand lab environment prototyping and evaluation concepts and approaches. Finally, the preferred candidate will have mixed skills in software and firmware development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience
Must hold a Secret clearance
Experienced in two or more Radar-relevant engineering activities to include analysis, design, prototyping, integration, test, and/or verification
