Summary:
• Lead forward-deployed AI engineering efforts to architect and build agentic systems and LLM applications for operational teams.
• Work directly alongside analysts, developers, and operators to identify critical workflows and deploy production-ready AI tools.
• Provide technical leadership in agentic system architecture, autonomous guardrails, and validation frameworks.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 12+ years
• Total Compensation: $320k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Lead forward-deployed technical engagements with mission teams from initial concept and prototyping through production deployment.
• Architect and implement robust agentic systems in Python integrating LLMs, MCP servers, Skills, and subagents with operational data sources.
• Design and implement safety guardrails for autonomous agents, including scoped permissions, human approval gates, and comprehensive audit logging.
• Develop rigorous evaluation suites to assess AI accuracy, reliability, and edge cases to determine operational readiness.
• Evaluate emerging foundation and open-weight models, architectures, and design patterns, presenting findings and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Utilize modern AI coding assistants and establish standards for reviewing, testing, and validating AI-generated software.
• Mentor engineering team members through technical design sessions, code reviews, and architectural guidance.
• Apply production software engineering practices using Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and agile tooling.
