Application Developer

Title: Application Developer - Client Power Platform
Contract Duration: 12 months initial + extend for two additional one-year periods
Location: Canada
Work Mode: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: 85$/hour on Incorp.
Federal Clearance Required: Reliability Role/ Service

Develop new features and maintain existing components using Client technologies, including Power Platform, Azure services, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Office 365.

Analyse, design, and implement system enhancements to meet evolving business requirements.

Conduct technical investigations and root-cause analysis on issues, providing recommendations and implementing corrective actions.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, solution designs, knowledge base articles, and testing plans/results.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing innovative approaches to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and capacity.

Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal clients and external partners.

Required qualifications & Skills

Experience with programming languages and frameworks.

Experience in web development within a Client or equivalent technology environment.

Experience developing and maintaining applications using modern web technologies and frameworks.

Experience collaborating with business analysts and UX designers to translate business requirements and designs into interactive solutions.

Experience developing solutions using Client Azure, Dynamics 365, and the Power Platform.

Familiarity with the Azure cloud platform and its integration services.

Experience with source control systems, including advanced branching and merging strategies.

Hands-on experience with code testing, deployment, and release processes.

Experience developing and using AI-based tools, including test automation solutions.

Experience writing scripts using various scripting languages.

Nice to have:

Demonstrated Agile methodology experience or designation.

Demonstrated DevOps implementation experience.

Demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues and challenges with a scrum team.

Demonstrated experience with application security, including certificate management.
