Technatomy is seeking a Software Test Lead to coordinate testing and user acceptance for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) pharmacy traceability project. You define a strategy that connects business requirements to independent evidence across applications, interfaces, sites, and operating procedures. You organize testers and business participants to identify defects, verify corrections, and inform release and acceptance decisions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop the test strategy, integrated test plan, entry and exit criteria, and evidence standards for assigned releases.
• Maintain traceability from requirements and user stories to test scenarios, results, defects, and acceptance evidence.
• Coordinate functional, integration, automation, performance, accessibility, and security testing with specialist staff.
• Plan user acceptance testing with pharmacy stakeholders and verify representative workflows and critical negative scenarios.
• Manage defect triage, priorities, retesting, regression coverage, and unresolved quality risks.
• Review acceptance evidence by site and workflow, including observation periods, sample coverage, defects, and unresolved conditions, so combined results do not conceal failed mandatory criteria.
• Prepare release and acceptance recommendations showing coverage, unresolved defects, and residual risks; maintain evidence for customer decisions and known-issue handoff to operations.
• Coordinate approved masked or synthetic EPCIS, GS1, and receipt test datasets across SAP, Azure integration services, and Dynamics 365 SCM test and UAT environments. Verify end-to-end receiving, exception handling, VRS failures, duplicate prevention, replay, and transaction reconciliation.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, or user acceptance testing.
• Experience leading testing for enterprise applications with multiple integrated systems and business stakeholders.
• Ability to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, traceability, and defensible test evidence.
• Experience coordinating user acceptance, defect management, regression testing, and release quality reviews.
• Working knowledge of API, data reconciliation, security, performance, and accessibility test considerations.
• Ability to assess test completeness, communicate unresolved risks, and maintain independent quality judgment.
• Ability to assess whether test evidence is sufficient for a release decision and distinguish demonstrated outcomes from assumptions, incomplete coverage, or deferred verification.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
• Experience testing SAP ATTP/Fiori, Dynamics 365 SCM, or Dataverse/Power Apps workflows and their integration dependencies.
• Experience supporting formal acceptance reviews or healthcare system rollouts.
• Relevant software testing certification and experience with automated test management tools.
• Prior experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other Federal agency applications or projects.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
CLEARANCE:
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
WORK LOCATION:
• Remote
As part of the application process, you are expected to be on camera during interviews and assessments. We reserve the right to take your picture to verify your identity and prevent fraud.
This position requires U.S. citizenship.
