Description: On-site in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Our client seeks an AI Engineer to support CECOM ASIC in developing and deploying AI/ML models, agentic AI systems, and advanced analytics solutions for defense applications.

Description: On-site in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Our client seeks an AI Engineer to support CECOM ASIC in developing and deploying AI/ML models, agentic AI systems, and advanced analytics solutions for defense applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and agentic AI systems for defense applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems
- Conduct research and experimentation to advance AI capabilities and address emerging challenges
- Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and reliability in real-world scenarios
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior AI engineers
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and trends to drive innovation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI/ML frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of deep learning, neural networks, and natural language processing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Active DoD security clearance required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with defense applications and requirements
- Knowledge of ethical AI and responsible AI practices
- Familiarity with MLOps and AI model deployment pipelines
