Job Description
We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a full-stack developer who enjoys building modern applications, improving business processes, and delivering AI-powered capabilities that solve real-world problems. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience designing and implementing AI solutions such as RAG systems, agentic workflows, prompt orchestration, and LLM guardrails.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET, Angular, SQL, and Azure Government cloud technologies.
• Build and integrate AI-powered features including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and automation solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for business process improvement and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design scalable AI application architectures with a focus on quality, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new ideas to deliver business value.
• Evaluate and optimize AI systems for accuracy, cost, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement solutions in evolving and ambiguous environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to pass a DoD Tier 1 background investigation; secret clearance preferred.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET and modern front-end development (Angular preferred).
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG solutions, vector search, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation strategies.
• Understanding of agentic architectures and the tradeoffs between multi-agent and traditional workflows.
• Strong software design, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements.
