SAIC is seeking a mission driven Technical Writer/Graphics Specialist to support an exciting and high impact customer project. The candidate will have demonstrated expertise in reviewing and editing technical information for accuracy, clarity, and impact. The Technical Writer shall possess a strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology, as well as excellent writing and editing skills.

The candidate will have demonstrated expertise in reviewing and editing technical information for accuracy, clarity, and impact. The Technical Writer shall possess a strong understanding of technical concepts and terminology, as well as excellent writing and editing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and edit technical documents including reports, briefs, and other written materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Ensure that technical information is presented in a clear and concise manner, using proper formatting and style guides
- Verify technical information against source materials and other relevant documentation to ensure accuracy and validity
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, and other instructional materials
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure that technical content is accurate and up-to-date
- Edit and revise technical documents to improve clarity, coherence, and overall quality
- Ensure that technical documents are compliant with relevant standards, regulations, and guidelines
Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly in order to be considered
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of technical experience, additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- Possess strong technical background
- Demonstrated experience in writing and editing technical documents for a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality products
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong oral and written communication skills
