Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ECS Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions (ECS). This role requires a detailed-oriented individual who can effectively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across our organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts using SIEM and other security tools.
• Investigate security incidents, determine the root cause, and implement appropriate remediation measures.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement security controls and improve overall security posture.
• Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on ECS.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of network security, operating systems, and cloud environments.
• Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Clearance Requirement: Secret clearance required.
