Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ECS Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on ECS (Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions) and a proven ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze ECS security alerts and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate security incidents, collect evidence, and provide detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures to protect organizational assets.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure comprehensive security coverage across all systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain security metrics and reporting to track performance and compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.
• Stay current with emerging threats, trends, and technologies in the cybersecurity landscape.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on ECS solutions.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of network security, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support incident response and other critical activities.

Clearance: Secret clearance required.
