Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ECS Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on ECS (Enterprise Cybersecurity Services) and a proven ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze ECS security systems and networks to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls to protect organizational assets.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure comprehensive security coverage across all systems.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on ECS.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
• Experience with incident response and disaster recovery planning.

Clearance Requirement:
This position requires a Secret clearance. The ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance is highly desirable.
