Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ECS Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions (ECS). This role requires a detailed-oriented individual who can identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats across our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic and security events using SIEM tools.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure system compliance and security.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop and update incident response plans and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Stay current with emerging threats and security trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on ECS.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Clearance Requirement:
This position requires a Secret clearance. The ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance may be required for certain assignments.
