Finance Manager - Product & Technology

Piper Companies is seeking a Finance Manager - Product & Technology to join a growing organization in the healthcare technology industry onsite in San Jose, CA, requiring five days per week in the office . The ideal Finance Manager, Product & Technology will serve as a key business partner supporting Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams through strategic planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and operational finance activities.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager, Product & Technology:

• Lead annual operating plan development, forecasting cycles, and long-range strategic planning for Product, Engineering, and Clinical organizations.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance, analysis, and decision support.
• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and portfolio reporting to support investment decisions.
• Prepare executive-level presentations, monthly reporting packages, and quarterly business reviews.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, financial approvals, and expense tracking to ensure disciplined financial management.
• Review contracts, purchase requisitions, and resource requests while ensuring compliance with internal financial processes.
• Perform expense account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Product, Engineering, and leadership teams to drive business objectives.
• Maintain ownership of key financial deliverables, deadlines, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications of the Finance Manager, Product & Technology:

• 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related financial functions.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Strong experience supporting annual operating plans, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Proven financial management ownership, including budgeting, reconciliations, approvals, reporting, and deadline management.
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Technology, R&D, or other business teams to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and finance systems, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; experience in healthcare, medical device, technology, or large corporate environments preferred.

Compensation for the Finance Manager, Product & Technology includes:

• Base Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 annually depending on experience
