- Coordinate with LLTM team leads, Planner Estimators, Material Coordinators, military and civilian engineering personnel, and work requestors to resolve issues, gather technical information, and communicate material status or delays.
- Coordinate onsite material turnover to the Local Material Activity (LMA), ensuring proper receipt of LLTM and identifying discrepancies, multipacks, damaged materials, or incomplete deliveries. Report findings to the Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Manager.
- Review technical drawings, manuals, and ship configuration data to identify required parts and materials for Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) availabilities, using research tools such as HAYSTACK, LOGICOM, and Model Based Product Support (MBPS).
- Review material requirements identified by Third-Party Planners (3PP) in Material Requirements (MRQT) to support work execution.
- Review work specifications in the Navy Maintenance Database (NMD) and compare material requirements against Third-Party Planner parts lists.
- Cross-reference material requirements to verify correct National Stock Numbers (NSNs), Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), and Part Numbers (PNs) for requisitioning.
- Review technical drawings, cost estimates, and specifications for contract and Government Commercial Purchase Card procurements supporting ship repair, modernization, and maintenance. Coordinate with Project Managers, Shipbuilding Specialists, and engineering personnel to resolve discrepancies.
- Develop inventory lists and assist local storage facilities with material inventory activities.
- Work with SMEs and logistics management teams to improve service levels, supply chain efficiency, and cost management.
- Prepare and maintain material status reports for multiple ships using Government applications and databases.
- Track standard and non-standard material requisitions from initiation through final delivery.
- Recommend improvements to logistics processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for material ordering activities.
- Notify SMEs of work requiring rejection, unresolved issues, or circumstances that could impact task completion.
