Summary:
• Develop custom software components and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Utilize Python and Go to build capabilities and address complex challenges using cutting-edge cloud technologies.
• Automate and manage virtual infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and modern configuration management tools.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical master's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design and implement core architecture and software capabilities from prototypes through to operational production systems.
• Define, build, and manage cloud virtual infrastructure in AWS using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
• Deploy, orchestrate, and maintain containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
• Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot Linux systems, networking, application security, and Bash shell scripting.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab-CI, Jenkins, Maven, and modern repository workflows.
• Integrate open-source tools and support distributed Big Data platforms and systems.
• Work autonomously and strategically within an Agile/Scrum team using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid work arrangement with an average of two days per week on-site in San Antonio.
