Summary:
• Design and build foundational AI integration frameworks and scalable agentic platforms using Python and Kubernetes.
• Develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and reusable tool-calling libraries to connect autonomous agents with backend services.
• Integrate enterprise large language models (LLMs) utilizing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and automated testing pipelines.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $226k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and optimize Python backend components for core agentic platforms and data lake architectures.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale containerized applications efficiently within Kubernetes environments.
• Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and function-calling interfaces to interact with internal microservices and external APIs.
• Implement enterprise AI safety guardrails, including prompt injection defenses, sensitive data scrubbing, and output validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expose APIs and integrate diverse enterprise services into AI workflows.
• Build automated testing pipelines to evaluate deterministic software logic as well as non-deterministic AI model outputs.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Linux environments to maintain robust software delivery standards.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid telework arrangement requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
