Summary:
• Design, develop, and test enterprise software capabilities utilizing Java, Spring, and RESTful web services on Linux systems.
• Leverage modern agentic AI workflows for automated feature implementation, code refactoring, and test generation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance across multi-repository engineering environments.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver robust, scalable microservices and cloud-ready solutions.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical master's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Architect and implement robust, secure backend capabilities using modern Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring and Guava.
• Design enterprise-level RESTful APIs and distributed microservices architectures.
• Integrate advanced AI agents into daily engineering routines to accelerate multi-file feature delivery and automated testing.
• Critically audit code for security, performance, and alignment with modern software design paradigms.
• Guide development across Linux environments using configuration management and build tools including Git, Maven, and Nexus.
• Interface with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, alongside distributed NoSQL data stores like Elasticsearch or MongoDB.
• Mentor engineering team members and lead technical initiatives across the entire agile software development lifecycle.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid work arrangement requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site in Augusta, GA.
