Summary:
• Conduct threat hunting operations, data science analysis, and customer enablement for defensive cyber operations.
• Utilize Python, SQL, SIEM platforms, and network traffic analysis tools to detect threats, develop statistical models and visualizations, and gather operational cyber requirements.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Total Compensation: $274k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Champion assigned cyber defense applications and big data platforms.
• Conduct proactive threat hunt operations and present findings through live interactive sessions.
• Collaborate with operational teams to gather requirements, analyze operational gaps, and optimize workflows.
• Apply data science methods, operational research, and statistical modeling to analyze complex datasets.
• Create intuitive data visualizations and interactive dashboards using modern reporting tools.
• Evaluate, analyze, and enrich diverse data feeds for usability and relevance across the platform.
• Develop and deploy threat detection signatures and monitor emerging cyber threats.
• Perform network traffic analysis and leverage intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Deliver technical training, demonstrations, and comprehensive documentation to end users.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid work arrangement with up to four days per week on-site.
