Summary:
• Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities, enterprise APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate advanced agentic AI workflows into daily engineering routines to accelerate feature implementation and refactoring.
• Utilize modern Java frameworks, build tools, and Linux environments to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Maintain an active Top Secret clearance while collaborating within an agile software lifecycle.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $226k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise RESTful APIs and microservices using modern Java frameworks and libraries.
• Integrate next-generation coding agents and agentic AI workflows to support multi-file implementations and automated testing.
• Build and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure software performance and architectural alignment.
• Manage code repositories, dependencies, and continuous delivery using Git, Maven, and Nexus.
• Operate comfortably within Linux command-line environments and adhere to Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
• Maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid work arrangement with 3 to 4 days per week on-site in Fort Meade, MD.
