Summary:
• Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities and enterprise APIs.
• Integrate next-generation agentic AI workflows to enhance multi-file feature delivery, code refactoring, and automated testing.
• Collaborate in an agile environment using modern tools, microservices architectures, and Linux-based platforms.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $226k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop and maintain Java-based capabilities, RESTful web services, and enterprise microservices architectures.
• Integrate autonomous AI agent workflows into daily engineering routines to manage context, implement multi-file features, and generate unit/integration tests.
• Audit and review agent-generated code to ensure security, performance, and alignment with architectural standards.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and manage software configurations using tools such as Git, Maven, and Nexus.
• Work effectively on the Linux command line to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot software systems.
• Participate actively in all phases of the agile software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid telework arrangement, with 3 to 4 days per week expected on-site in Fort Meade, MD.
