Software Engineer, Intermediate – Fort Belvoir, VA
REQUIREMENTS:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5 years demonstrated experience in design, development, fielding, and sustainment of software web applications.
• Experience in development of Java, HTML, JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, SQL
• Exposure and/or experience with some or all of the following: React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSP, XML, Sencha/ExtJS.
• Experience in writing and reviewing technical documents
• Experience in technology and software integration
CERTIFICATIONS:
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification and compliance upon hire
• Baseline Certifications – CCNA Security, Security+ CE, or equivalent
JOB DUTIES:
• Designs or implements algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
• Integrate new technologies and software into existing capabilities
• Maintain legacy applications, trouble shoot issues, resolve problems.
• Coordinate software system installation. Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Develop, test, maintain, and support high-performance, innovative software and web-based applications

Salary: $140,000-160,000/year, based on experience
