Swingtech Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst to support a federal AI/ML solution delivery program. This role will work with Government stakeholders, subject-matter experts, end users, and technical teams to define requirements, evaluate AI-enabled solutions, coordinate Agile delivery, and help move solutions from discovery through production release.

The ideal candidate has supported an applied AI/ML implementation and has experience working with SMEs to evaluate AI outputs, develop test scenarios, document deficiencies, and translate findings into product improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, requirements workshops, solution demonstrations, and evaluation sessions.
  • Translate mission needs into workflows, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and prioritized backlog items.
  • Work with SMEs and end users to define representative use cases, expected outcomes, edge cases, and human-review requirements.
  • Evaluate AI-generated answers, classifications, summaries, predictions, retrieved content, or other outputs for accuracy, relevance, completeness, and business usefulness.
  • Document false positives, false negatives, unsupported outputs, defects, and other quality issues.
  • Translate SME feedback and evaluation findings into defects, backlog updates, retesting needs, and solution improvements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, AI pilots, demonstrations, stakeholder feedback, and release-readiness activities.
  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, risk tracking, status reporting, and project coordination.
  • Work with AI/ML engineers, data engineers, developers, testers, security teams, and Government stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Maintain traceability from the original business need through requirements, testing, acceptance, release, and continuous improvement.
  • Support Deputy PM activities, including schedule coordination, dependency tracking, risk and issue management, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder communications.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience performing business analysis, product analysis, UAT, QA, functional analysis, or technical project coordination.
  • Hands-on experience supporting the delivery, testing, validation, or evaluation of an AI/ML-enabled solution.
  • Experience working with SMEs or end users to define expected results, test scenarios, business rules, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience evaluating AI, analytical, or automated outputs and documenting quality issues or failed scenarios.
  • Experience converting stakeholder needs and evaluation findings into user stories, defects, acceptance criteria, and backlog improvements.
  • Experience supporting Agile software-development teams and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to complete the required federal suitability and onboarding process.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, chatbots, NLP, classification models, predictive analytics, or intelligent document processing.
  • Understanding of false positives, false negatives, confidence thresholds, hallucinations, grounding, human-in-the-loop review, and AI evaluation.
  • Experience supporting AI pilots, proofs of concept, soft launches, or production-release decisions.
  • Experience supporting federal agencies or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Responsible AI, privacy, security, accessibility, and federal authorization processes.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, or comparable tools.
  • BA, Agile, Product Owner, Scrum, or project-management certification is preferred but not required.
